All Out!

Well, Chilly Willy is now named Lucci and is totally livin' it up. As are his 2 bro's Bones and Brady! We hope China Dog is doing well too.
Best wishes to the pups and families.
Couldn't have asked for a better adoption!

One puppy left...

Chilly wants to know why no one has adopted him yet. He says he'll be good, and he's trying real hard to potty train! He'll go all night long without having an accident now!
The big dogs don't want to play and his foster mom is always away at work. He needs a permanent family!

"Please take me home! I've got my first set of shots and have been de-wormed! I'm ready to go!"

They're GROWING!

Me and Little Megatron...yep, that's what I call him. Can't really name him, that's for someone else to do:) We also have Optimus Prime, China Doll, and Spot. Spots cool - he's got an awesome spot on the top of his head. He wouldn't hold still long enough for a good photo. Stay tuned. They are growling, barking and just starting to walk. Ready to go October 1st!!!

PUPPIES

Here are the pups at 3 full days alive. We lost one - a little girl so now there are 5 pups; 1 girl and 4 boys. We are thinking they will be ready to go sometime around October 1st. If anyone is interested, send me an email at perthyll@yahoo.com and we can talk. Come by and take a look at them.

KITTENS! This is Diamond's newest population. (yes, yes, I know...ever hear of spaying your cat!?) We will!
These guys and girls are up for grabs. I'll deliver:) The grey and yellow are males, Roscoe and Sunny, aptly named by Sophia. The other two black and grey are girls, Oddball (as named by Marcella) and Noni (as I couldn't remember what the girls named her, so Noni is short for NoName!)
They are sweet and friendly and need to go.

Baby BLTs

Miss Fifi gave birth to Mr. Spothead (as pictured center) at about 8pm last night. By 12:30am, there were three, and by 6am there were six. Six beautiful, strong baby Boston Terriers - or as I call them Boston Love Terriers(BLTs).

We'll keep you posted on their progress and adoption opportunities.

Garden Git-down

We had a garden git-down this weekend.
Dogs had a blast getting play while we worked.
Got the garden plot started - FINALLY. Before, during and after photos give you an idea of what went on. It was a lot more work than I expected and I couldn't have done it without Chris. He managed to get the tiller and tilled it up! That thing would have put me down - it was heavy! and old - but it worked.
We'll keep it posted as we make progress.
Stay tuned...

Snow in the afternoon

Later in the afternoon we ventured out to play again. Chris got the kayak out and we went sledding. Sidney had fun! Justice was jealous. Then we loaded everyone in the back of the truck for an updated group photo!

Snow in the Morning

Snow in the morning was a pleasant suprize. The light was perfect and created a special mood. Everyone was joyful. Ladybug was bounding around like a puppy. Trooper was actually running - when he wasn't eating the snow. And the little one's were chest deep. Having the road covered in snow allowed for a certain amount of relaxation. We could play without the worry of someone going to the road and cars and trucks flying by. We had a grand ol' time. It was a very special day.

In the Walmart Parking Lot

Some people find love in the Walmart Parking lot - or so says a country music song...I however, found a fish in the Walmart Parking lot. His name is "Fish". He is a red beta someone forgot and left in the cart kiddie seat. He now resides in a flower vase in my kitchen. I keep him above the sink with my plants. He has a nice view of the backyard, 2 plants and ME, when I wash the dishes. He is very pretty, or, ahem - handsome and we like to stare at each other.

For those of you who know our past fish troubles, I have taken to boiling the water and letting it sit until it reaches room temperature before changing the fish bowl water. Our well water killed our last bunch of fish - so we won't let Fish die that way.
